The sleeping area is placed above a built-in storage volume, transforming the bed into a multifunctional structure. Under the mattress, the platform contains hidden compartments and drawer-like storage, allowing clothes and domestic objects to be stored inside the depth of the bed itself. In this way, the bed becomes both a sleeping surface and a compact wardrobe/storage system.
The interest of this design lies in its clarity: instead of folding the bed away, the project uses the volume below it. The raised platform gives the apartment a permanent sleeping area while recovering otherwise unused space for storage.
